First year of shooting anything other than local bands. Had the opportunity to shoot the MTV Woodie Awards at SXSW with Iggy Azalea and Childish Gambino. Also shot Kings of Leon and City & Colour in Tulsa. Thanks for the inspiration and congrats on your success.

Shooting at my favourite festival Tuska Open Air Metal Festival 2014 was for me the biggest highlight of 2014. I had the chance to shoot some of my favourite bands like Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Carcass, Hamferd, Stone and Anthrax. Two days in sunshine and one day in rain. Great experience, I wouldn’t change it for anything.

My second highlight was shooting my first promos for my friend’s band called The Wyman Family. Seven photos ended on their debut album. I’m very happy they liked my work.

Also finding Matthias Hombauer’s How to become a Rockstar Photographer book and becoming part of Matthias’ Facebook group were highlights for me 😉 .

I hope I’ll learn to take better photos this year and I hope I’ll have the time and opportunity to shoot more bands.

Well done. It’s been a great year for you and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your advice & support.

During 2014 I shot some amazing artists, including Viv Albertine (The Slits) at Festival #6 and Pauline Black (The Selector) both amazing women who in my teens adorned my bedroom walls and have filled me with inspiration throughout the years. I still pinch myself. I never expected to be doing what I’m doing right now.

Roll on 2015!

Miriam, the problem with pricing is that there is no list where you get the exact price e.g. for press shots or album covers. It totally depends on the status of the band, on your business knowledge and your own brand.
